Ninjas 3D

It has been a while since I first drew these minions, and I felt it was about time to give them a more solidified look than the pen-and-ink rendition.

For their design, I gave them a reddish color scheme with a few tinges of blue (a classic theme to most of the masculine minions). The red spirals on their limbs were originally meant to be a barber pole design; but, as I think about it, it serves also as a throwback to the old Japanese flag with the rays of the red sun.

Originally these were my designs for what Axel's minions would be like (I still believe the Assassins belong to Marluxia). As such, they are naturally very resistant to Fire but weak against Blizzard. Their weapons are shuriken kept in their chest belts and a chakram smaller than their intended master. However, as time went on, they turned out to be Machelix's minions and eventually the general lessers of the entire Espionage Entourage.

Their compact form is a tornado-like state where they are completely enshrouded by their cloaks. They are less vulnerable to Wind damage in this state but more vulnerable to Thunder.

They naturally like to stay at a distance from their opponents. If the gap is closed, they create illusions of themselves and circle around the opponent before rushing all at once. This can be countered with the Reaction Command Burst Edge.
